The HIM Program (Health Interventions for Men) is a Red Door Program of the Hennepin County Public Health Clinic (formerly known as the Red Door Clinic), Minnesota's largest HIV/STD testing center. Our program provides a number of different sexual health services for gay and bisexual men.

As part of Hennepin County Public Health Clinic’s mission to improve the health of the community and reduce infectious disease, we are pleased to announce that our current services will include syringe disposal services, allowing individuals to safely discard of their used syringes.  In order to keep this service accessible to everyone, each of our public bathrooms has a disposal receptacle for small quantities of sharps and syringes.  Staff are also available to assist with larger quantities, please check in at the front desk. While we are not offering exchange services, we will provide referrals to syringe exchange programs for any client who is interested.

We welcome all men who have sex with men - gay, straight, bisexual, transgender, curious, closeted, out, in, HIV-negative, HIV-positive - who want support for healthy sexual behavior and want to learn about decreasing risks around HIV/STD infection or re-infection.
