Discussion and Support Groups
The HIM Program offers several different groups for men. They all have in common the goals of offering support, building community, and fostering sexual health for gay and bisexual men.
BETWEEN MEN DISCUSSION GROUP
A 6-week discussion group for gay and bisexual men.
Group enrollment is limited to 10-12 guys, and the same group meets once per week for 6 weeks tackling different topics and issues each week. Groups are available throughout the year.

MARRIED MEN'S GROUP
A discreet, monthly group for men who are married to women and have attractions for men.
Pre-screening with HIM Program staff is required for group enrollment. Information about location and times can be obtained during the pre-screening process.

MEN, SEX & THE INTERNET GROUP
A 4-week discussion group for guys who hook up online.
This group welcomes guys who are interested in talking about hooking up online, sexual safety, physical safety, issues around compulsivity, successes, challenges... the good, the bad, and the fugly.

POSITIVE PERSPECTIVES SUPPORT GROUP
A twice-monthly group for HIV+ guys in recovery from addiction.
This HIV aftercare support group provides a safe space for guys living with HIV and in recovery to talk about HIV, chemical health, sex, dating, disclosure, HIV meds, medical issues, and resources in the community.

COMMUNITY PRESENTATIONS
The HIM Program occasionally offers special programming of interest for different gay and bisexual men's social or sexual groups here in the Twin Cities. If your group is interested in a HIM Program presentation on HIV/STDs, safer sex, or any other sexual health topic, contact us.
All HIM Program groups are free.
